An average of twenty veterans die by suicide every day. I am a part of Team Objective Zero and we believe every veteran suicide is preventable. Together we're running 10k on October 28, as part of the annual Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC. We're raising awareness, raising funds, and running in solidarity with the 1000 forward deployed service members who will run the marathon abroad.

All donations will go to Objective Zero, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating veteran suicide through instantly connecting those struggling with PTSD, depression, TBI, anxiety, and panic disorder to fellow veterans or counselors through an iPhone/Android mobile app. We're already making an impact. Just last month one of our Ambassadors escorted a suicidal Veteran to in-patient care in the San Diego area.  After leaving in-patient care, the Veteran told our Ambassador, “You saved my life, my marriage, and my fatherhood.”
